Naíonra an Choillínillín

Naíonra an Choillín is a privately run Irish-Speaking Pre-School Service for children between two and a half and five years of age. It operates through the medium of Irish.

The staff structure the environment to ensure that all facets of the child's holistic development are catered for, while giving the child the opportunity to acquire Irish naturally through the medium of play which is this particular age group's chief method of learning.

A Naíonra is a playgroup for children who come together daily, for 3 hours, in a pleasant, cheerful and safe environment, under the guidance and supervision of a Naíonra Leader.

ENROLMENT - FREE ECCE PLACES AVAILABLE

The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme provides early childhood care and education for children of pre-school age. The Naíonra is eligible for the Free Pre-School Year From September 2016, children are eligible for the ECCE scheme if they are aged over 3 years and not older than 5 and a half years.

We are open 5 days a week Monday- Friday.

Naíonra an Choillín is presently located on the old Longford road on the grounds of Cullion GAA Club and overlooking the picturesque Lough Owel.

The school is just a 5 minute drive from the town centre. The school is very accessible, with no traffic or parking restrictions.
